New London: The Lost Dream launch Wed., Aug. 10 in Springbrook

In 1773, Quaker settlers from London, England came came to PEI and established “Elizabethtown,” which today is located below St. Thomas Anglican Church on the edge of New London Bay, and part of the community of Springbrook. We’re delighted to return there to host the launch of New London: The Lost Dream, the new book by Island historian John Cousins about these Quakers who settled along PEI’s north shore in the French River-Springbrook-New London area, in the years 1773-1795.
Everyone welcome.
