Time and Place leading off “Open Pages” Wed., Oct. 12

Time and a Place, An Environmental History of Prince Edward Island, is being called “groundbreaking” and everyone is invited to enjoy a discussion with its authors on Wednesday evening, October 12, 7 – 8:30 pm at UPEI’s Robertson Library.

This discussion is the first in a new book event called “Open Pages” at UPEI. hosted by the Robertson Library on one Wednesday night of each month. It will celebrate new Island books, by inviting their authors to read and discuss their work with all who are interested.

Island Studies Press at UPEI has two new books this year, and are delighted to lead off “Open Pages” with Time and a PlaceLight refreshments will be served, and everyone is invited to enjoy tea and talk with the book’s authors, including Irene Novaczek, Ed MacDonald, Rosemary Curley, and Kathy Stuart.

The Press’ new book by John Cousins, New London: The Lost Dream, will be featured in the November session of “Open Pages.” on Wednesday November 16, at 7 pm, at Robertson Library.
